he steals other band's fans!
charlton's been crooning up a storm around the country supporting fellow rockers the whitlams and taxiride - two bands that have pretty hard-core fans of their own!
"taxiride have got some really serious fans, i think one of the girls has got taxiride tattooed across her backside! so you know, i'm looking forward to where the charlton hill one is going to go! i've been converting them, bringing them over to my cult!" (laughs)
he films clips at sub-zero temperatures!
the clip for his debut single 2's company was filmed in reykjavik, iceland (sounds cold already!).
"when i'm not on camera looking like i was in the clip, i was literally in every item of clothing that i'd taken with me and it didn't seem to do anything. we had to keep turning the car on and crank the heater up."
he's mates with john mayer!
charlton was lucky enough to score a gig touring with your body is a wonderland cutie, john. "my album had been sent to his management in the us and they dug it and sent it to john, and he said he'd be geared up having it on tour, and his musicians and stuff were getting into it. john's a great guy!"
he wants a pair of xtina crotchless pants!
there's no-one charlton would rather duet with then rock granddad david bowie. his second choice? christina aguilera! "you know, i could jump around in that ring, wear buttless chaps as she did in there!"
he used to be on home and away!
it's trivia time! before he traded in his script for a guitar, charlton played haydn ross, the bad-boy son of pippa and michael with a gambling problem! he appeared on the show between 1991 and 1994, and did a guest spot in 1996. but during his acting career, charlton went by the name andrew hill. what the...?
